10 Questions Insanely-Awesome-Late20�s-Indonesian-Woman-Like-Me-Tired of Answering

This time I am not posting about my traveling experience. However, I am traveling to India and I already created the line of my writing. Probably I will write my India experience down on this blog next month. Well I just had dinner and the conversation was kind of boring, I was asked (over and over again) about these questions (Those were asked like more than 20 times in 2014, seriously? Yes!). I am reacting this time. Writing on blog, they said, is better than doing physically and verbally violence. Warning: Use your advance level of sarcasm.


1. You took sociology as major,it is not as difficult as math, just common sense, do you ever have to study?
No, because interviewing people, analyzing their behaviour, and writing 20 pages of paper a day based on theory and evidences were much easier than studying for a test. At least, I spent a whole day not sitting on your butt. Thanks.

2. Why did you choose to work in government institution? Isn�t it boring and corrupt?
Do you know passion and logical personal choice? Yes, government institution could be boring and corrupt if the people who work there are incompetent, frustated and have no idea to solve complicated problems like you. Thanks.

3. When are you getting married?
It is of course even beyond my imagination. When will you die? Thanks.

4. Why do you like traveling abroad and alone? Is it boring or awkward?
I belong to anybody when I am traveling alone, I had some awesome experiences with locals. Yes it is boring and awkward when it turns to somebody who lack of adventurous sense like you travels. Thanks.

5. Are you running from something  here when you are traveling abroad?
Yes, I am running from stupid morons like you. I have no reason to be a person like you. Thanks.

6. Why did you take your hijab off?
I don�t need social stamps to define my spirituality and relationship with God. However, i put my hat up to those who wear. Thanks.

7. But, hijab increases your dignity and it is protecting women, isn�t it?
What if I told you that countries with biggest hijab wearer are in the most dangerous countries for women?
What if I told you that I know some European guys who have fetish at hijabi girls and they are easily get turned on when they see hijabi girls just because those girls are mysterious for them?

Do you know  what is better than intellectual orgasm? Thanks.
