I paused, inhaled and exhaled my breath fastly, that was the first 60 minutes hike.
�Can we stop and sit for a while? Are we there, yet?�
�Come on, keep on hiking, it is 15 minutes from now,� Candra, one of my trekking mates said. He kept talking, laughing and hiking many steps ahead me like... effortless. I climbed mountains when I used to be high school student, to Merapi, Merbabu and Lawu mount in Central Java. This track must be easy for me, but I climbed mountain nine years ago, so it took a lot of effort for me this time.
It had been more than 30 minutes after that. Damn it, the track got more slippery when we reached the steep of the track, high level of slope. I mean most ways of the track are like that. The trekking way was so small, you have to stand and hold a tree to give other people from opposite direction to acces the way. The most embarassing moment was when i fell in front of high school students then they shouted �Come up, Maam! You must make it! Come up!� They called me Maaaam?!? Haha! I am 27 and I am not that old to climb this hill, kidos!
Finally we reached the top of Manglayang hill. Manglayang is located in Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia. From Bandung, you can take shuttle bus from Balubur Town Square to Jatinangor for IDR 15000, ask the driver to drop you at Padjajaran University then take ojek (rocking motorcycle taxi) to Kiara Payung. We started to hike from Kiara Payung Camp Center. For amateur hiker like me, it took 6 hours to reach the peak of the hill :p.
It was difficult to go down and I got knee pain due to adjusting the gravity. Lol, I should have done jogging everyday before took this rute. Even though it was painful and tiring, the view of the hills is worth struggling, we got many view like this in Indonesia actually;
